Carole Rawlinson specialises in photographing hospital buildings, ice, deserts and remote wild places around the world from the Arctic to the Antarctic.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. She has had 3 solo exhibitions of her hospital work about the building of the new Evelina Children’s Hospital and the closure of The Middlesex Hospital. Her book, Middlesex Memories was published in 2007 and is available from Amazon. Published in 2008, her Routes book is available from the bookstore.

Her images have also been published in journals, publicity material, in NHS annual reports and as a CD cover and illustrations for the Terra Incogita CD by Michael J Mcevoy.

She is a stock photographer for the Royal Geographical Society Picture Library which holds a wide selection of her wild places images.
